interval is a new alternative art space in downtown WS. the brainchild of paul bright and martha norfleet-neff, it featured an exhibition of my work and that of a young vietnamese artist named quyhn vu. when paul first proposed the idea, i immediately said yes. only later did i look at quyhn’s work online and kind of scratched my head wondering how he was going to show two such completely different styles of work. when we delivered the work for hanging, i got it. the common unifying thread was color. paul grouped our works by color compatibility or resonance and it really worked well.
